We also plan fellowship dinners during the year, and sponsor other special groups, such as Above and Beyond, Krazy With Kids, Prime Time Players and the Men’s Fellowship Group.
Prayer Chain
Members volunteer to serve on the Prayer Chain and are contacted by phone when needed to offer prayers for members and friends of the church who are in need.
Presbyterian Women's Meeting
This group meets the second Monday of each month at 10:30 am. All women are encouraged to attend these planning meetings. Some of the events that our women participate in are: the Strawberry Festival, Vacation Bible School, Garage Sale, and Christmas Tableau. Currently our mission focus is our support of Harmony House, a home for battered women in West Palm Beach.
Lunch Bunch
This group meets the second Monday of each month following our Presbyterian Women's meeting and then enjoys lunch arranged by the hostess or at a local restaurant.
Women’s Bible Study
The 2010-2011 (September thru June) Horizons Bible study of Journeys Through Revelation: Apocalyptic Hope for Today meets in Harrington Parlor at 10 a.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month.
Presbyterian Women in the Congregation (PWC)
All women of the church are invited to support the mission of the church worldwide through PWC. They meet (September thru June) in Harrington Parlor at 11 a.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month. Their current project is a 50th Anniversary church cookbook, available in October 2010.
Ladies’ Lunch Bunch
This group meets year-round at local restaurants at 12:30 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month for good food and fellowship. Order from the menu; Dutch treat. Check the Beacon or Sunday bulletin for hostess and location. Visitors and guests are welcome. Reservations requested, but not required.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast
This group meets in Fellowship Hall (October thru May) every Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. for a hot breakfast. A good-will donation is received to cover the cost of food. Visitors welcome; no reservations required. Check the Beacon or Sunday bulletin for their summer schedule.
